Job Description
The successful candidate will carry short term mine design and scheduling, project analyses, ore control, reconciliation, geotechnical data acquisition, mine engineering systems analysis and design.
Essential Duties:
- Scheduling and budgeting of short-term (monthly) production
- Reconciliation of predicted to actual equipment requirements and block model to actual production
- Compilation and analysis of technical data, costs and cutoff grades
- Ensure stockpile inventory and production accounting

Required Skills or Experience
- A first degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of three years working experience at an open pit or underground mine
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to identify and analyze organisational needs
