Newmont Ghana Gold Limited a subsidiary of , one of the World’s largest gold mining companies.

Job Description

The successful candidate will manage effective support provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of Min Application Systems and related packages.

Essential Duties:

  • Must adhere strictly to Newmont’s Health, Safety and Environmental Standards
  • Undertake Jigsaw/Mineops such as Linux Troubleshooting, PostgreSQL, BO’S Crystal Reports, MineSight Administration, DSS and AGDM
  • Provide UATs and take charge of MineView, TotalView and OneView reporting
  • Ensure contractual agreements and licensing and vendors is adhered to 
  • Serve as a general first-line user support

Required Skills or Experience

  • A first degree in Mining Applications SysAdmin Certification or Computer Science/GeoScience
  • Minimum of 5-10 years minerals exploration or mining oriented and software management experience
  • Applicable experience with technical Mining Applications, SQL Server or other
  • Ability to drive and a valid Ghanaian Drivers’ License
