Job Description
The successful candidate will manage effective support provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of Min Application Systems and related packages.
Essential Duties:
- Must adhere strictly to Newmont’s Health, Safety and Environmental Standards
- Undertake Jigsaw/Mineops Systems Administration such as Linux Troubleshooting, PostgreSQL, BO’S Crystal Reports, MineSight Administration, DSS and AGDM
- Provide UATs and take charge of MineView, TotalView and OneView reporting
- Ensure contractual agreements and licensing and vendors is adhered to
- Serve as a general first-line user support

Required Skills or Experience
- A first degree in Mining Applications SysAdmin Certification or Computer Science/GeoScience
- Minimum of 5-10 years minerals exploration or mining oriented and software management experience
- Applicable experience with technical Mining Applications, SQL Server or other
- Ability to drive and a valid Ghanaian Drivers’ License
